Dubai, United Arab Emirates! The Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, today (Saturday) launched his official TikTok account. It is worthy of note that Tik Tok is the fastest growing social media platform in the world with more than 800 million users, globally.

Remarkable is the fact that as soon as Sheikh Mohammed created his official Tik Tok account, more than 79.1k users followed his account instantly, and also garnered over 92.2K likes so far.

Dubai ruler, Sheikh Mohammed took to his official Twitter page to break the news, and in his words, he said: “Today, I launched my official account on the TikTok platform, the fastest growing in the world, which has more than 800 million users worldwide … We want to be where people are…..We want to build positive Arabic content … . We want to hear the young people and share our story with them,”.

Also worthy of note is his first video on the Tik Tok social media platform which has attracted more than 88.2K likes and 17.7K comments so far. In the video, he was heard from the background, urging people to work hard not to slow down.

The Dubai leader is expected to share short clips of his 50-year journey in public service, providing insights in leadership and management to inspire youth to create positive change in their societies.

The launch of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s official TikTok account is testimony to his eagerness for connectivity with his followers, particularly the young generation who make up the majority of the short-form mobile video platform’s audience.
