Dallas had their fair share of turnovers, three in fact.

The first came on the punt return from KaVontae Turpin. Jacksonville would recover the fumble and turn that into six.

The Jaguars would score the first 14 points Saturday and it took until the final 15 seconds of the first half for Dallas to score.

It was 14-7 Jags at the half, just 3 total points scored in the third before rookie running back Deuce Vaughn led the Cowboys down the field to score his first NFL touchdown and give Dallas their first lead.

The Jaguars outscored the Cowboys from there though.

Dallas falls 28-23, their fifth straight loss in preseason openers.

“Some good and some bad, obviously,” Jaguars Head Coach Doug Pederson said. “Overall, a lot of things to clean up, but there are some positives we’ll take a look at and build on.”

Hopefully, the Jaguars are not gonna let this victory go into their heads.
