What tests do I need to travel to Dubai?

All visitors to Dubai over the age of 16 must now present either a recognized vaccination certificate with QR code, a negative PCR test within 48 hours of departure (home tests and lateral flow tests are not accepted), or a certificate showing that the traveller has recovered from Covid-19 within the past month. This means that fully vaccinated visitors no longer need to present a negative PCR test for entry.

For those transiting through Dubai, only the travel restrictions of your final destination will apply.

Can unvaccinated people travel to Dubai?

Unvaccinated visitors can travel to Dubai, but must show a negative PCR test taken within 48 hours of departure for DXB airport. Children under the age of 16 and those with severe disabilities are exempt from PCR testing and vaccination requirements.

What tests do I need for Abu Dhabi?

The rules are slightly different for Abu Dhabi, the capital of the UAE.

Fully vaccinated travellers are allowed to enter the emirate without additional testing or quarantining if they are fully vaccinated; are under the age of 16; or have recently recovered from Covid, with the relevant certificate to prove this. Bokep Viral

However, you are still advised to take a Covid test either before you go or after you arrive as a negative test from the last 30 days may be required to gain entry into some public spaces, such as hotels, restaurants and malls. You should also download the AlHosn app to demonstrate your vaccination and testing status.

Unvaccinated travellers are permitted to enter Abu Dhabi. However, they must take a PCR test within 48 hours before departure to the emirate. In addition, they may not be permitted to enter some public spaces.
